My first mission was to sell my iPod to someone in Wynyard, and so I crossed Harbour Bridge just to find out that as I handed it over I had forgot to empty it. I was ashamed but happy that I had my computer with me to be able to recharge it and delete all the settings. This happened on a bench of the railway station with them waiting for me.
After that my plan was to go north across Harbour Bridge again to the Office Works store there, because that store is closer to our house. I had to search a long time for the replacement buses before I could go back and they were leaving, over full, every 25 minutes instead of a train every ten minutes. Good solving of problem, there!
When I stood in North Sydney outside a dark and closed Office Works I shouted out loud "Nej! Nej NEEJ" in Swedish and saw myself stand there and wait again for the slow replacement bus. Now way, I thought, and actually got into a cab, across the bridge again, to the other Office Works that was open.
I was all sweaty and stepped into the store full of hope. The guy in the store tells me that they have too many printouts to do today, and that I have to book a time for it tomorrow. The problem is that I'm in school tomorrow from 8.30 to 17.30. I could get the last time tomorrow evening at 17.45, which means I have to take a cab again tomorrow.
Also, the whole folder with my branding things needs to be made tomorrow evening and night which I thought would be done today. I started crying, I have worked so hard on this just to get it printed at the right time, just to find out that the time is not enough.
I will fix this, but it is quite a lot to do tomorrow evening. I cried all the way home to my little family who welcomed me with open arms and hugs before I "stupade" down on the grass in the sun and fell asleep, exhausted.
Now, three hours later, I'm up and running again. But I can tell you that this time I am really longing for production week (calmer week without lessons) after this week, with start Thursday afternoon until the 15th. I will fill that week with nice people, time for myself, photographing, being in the sun if there is any and most importantly, I will go SURFING. I'll look for my own board now on Gumtree before I start working on my other assignments! Take care, guys, and don't be worried, not every day is like this. And I have learned that printing takes longer time than you think.
