No more pictures on this blog...

Hi everyone!

The other day when I was to post a picture, and suddenly, Blogger said I have used all my space to upload pictures! So I'll need to start pay for it, which I don't want. Therefore I haven't posted that much the last couple of days and I miss it! I'm thinking of getting a new one, unfortunately. Maybe Wordpress or something like that. But I haven't got time to do it today. Hopefully it will be done after this weekend!

Busy day!

First day at a cafe job at a place called whole meal! I'll work there around once a week. Finally! Now I'm on my way to film the band int the studio. It's the last filming day! 

Love running in the rain

I got up very early today, and did some knee exercises with my rubber band before I went out running and FINALLY I didn't feel anything at all. That gave me a lot of energy. It started to rain but I love running when it's raining unless I'm not too cold and when I got to double bay I jumped into the ocean before I continued running. Wonderful start of the day!

Now I'm heading of for an interview with the organization ACAS. It's somwhere far away!

Problems with Blogger...

This is what many of my pictures that I post looks like more and more often when I use Blogspot. (they just get uploaded in half the right colour - the rest is coloured in another one! There is so much troubles with it! And so much time I put in posting just a single picture!! For two days I haven't even been able to post anything. I don't know why! Do any of you know a good, fast site where I can have a blog on? If I change, though, it's a pity that I can't bring everything I have written (like 700 posts), to the new one...

Anyway. Today the sun was shining and I felt wonderful walking the streets of Kings Cross to the library to do some research for the re-design. We have chosen a space just in the opposite of the Coca cola sign - I'll post pictures later. I went to buy nachos take away and picked up a book i have ordered that was recommended from one of our teachers. I could no not open it up, and the book was so Frej'y so I couldn' stop reading as I was walking home! I sat down at our balcony while Malin and Niklas worked by the computers, and ate the wonderful nachos plate while I explored my new inspirational book. It's full of tasks that makes you observe and collect things you see. You'll hear more about it as I have started to read it.

Tomorrow I'll meet up with my group in Design Research class and we'll FINALLY go to the organization ACAS which we are doing our street campaign for, and having an interview! I'm looking forward to that.

The worst banner I have ever seen

I haven't barely slept anything. But I have created the most incredible banner! Actually I haven't ever seen anything worse than this - but I'm so proud of myself and I have done my best. The bird is even BLINKING right back at'ya!

I am almost done with the design within Photoshop, and tomorrow I'll put together the flash banner and the pitch presentation for Tuesday's class. I'll need to present two different design solutions, so I'll work on that tomorrow too. In all of the pages there will be interactions and things moving. For example, on the buy page there will be a scanner coming in from above, laser scanning the bar code of the book and the price of the book will appear in the black box. On the home page, some of the animals in my illustrations will move weather you hold the cursor over them or not, and some of them will interact with your cursor. Also, the clouds in the book will be flying across the spreads, shrinking a bit when reaching the middle spread divider line, before continuing. I'll continue to work a bit more on this now. The power house museum!

Adventure day by car filled with inspiration. We went for breakfast on a Italian place in Leichartt and then went to the exhibition in the Power House Museum. Amazing. For example, I stood one meter away from things that have been rolling on the moon!!

Fixing our new home!

This day have been long - in a good way. I've done a lot of things and I decided when I woke up that I deserved a day without sitting by the computer. I started my day with Malin and breakfast at our beloved balcony. Then I cleaned our floors and did some washing before Malin and I headed off to our old apartment and cleaned it and took a look at it for the last time. The rain was pouring down when we walked back through Rushcutters Bay Park. When we got home me and Niklas went for a coffee at one of the oldest cafe's in Kings Cross - just outside our door! We went to buy some important but not necessarily interesting things for our new apartment; cables and light bulbs. But we also bought some more inspiring stuff; seeds for our balcony and spray paint! When we got home Malin and I started to plant our seeds in all the different flower pots that we have found while Niklas decided upon an electricity company. I was smiling from inside when Malin and I pysslade around with the plants. You'll see pictures of them when they've started to grow and when we have created beautiful small signs for them all. Our plan is to hang out at our balcony with friends throughout the whole summer, creating our own drinks grabbing leafs from our herbs! COZY. After that I started to put up my bracelets, ear rings and necklaces in an order that just make you feel like ... ahh. Then I put up a bring but good container for me and Malin's cables, to make them hide under my desk. After that I went out to buy some sand paper. I wanted to paint all the frames we have found. We are planning to put them up, empty, in a specific grid at our wall in the living room! It's going to look beautiful! Unfortunately the paint didn't last, so I have to continue another day, but Malin photographed the process. It looked like if Dexter had been there a couple of minutes before, covering the place with plastic... I finished the day with wonderful pancakes! Tomorrow I'll head of to school and meet up with my group which I'm doing the Aboriginal Children street campaign with.

I photographed this wonderful couple at Rushcutters Bay and Kings Cross's oldest cafe'! They are about to get married in two weeks! I'll show you some more later.

By the way, I'm finally creating a portfolio site where all my finished work will go! Don't want to tell you yet - I'll introduce it soon!
